Where can I pick up my bus pass/student ID?
The ASM bus pass program entitles most students a pass for unlimited rides on the local bus and paratransit system in the Madison metro area. The bus passes can be picked up at Memorial Union and at certain times it can be picked up at Union South. A student must present a valid student ID upon pick up. Check the website for more details. Madison Metro has a website with their current bus schedules. The busses with numbers of 80, 81, and 82 are campus busses and are free to everyone regardless if you have a bus pass or not.
Where can I look for apartments?
Startrenting.com is a free apartment search website in which you can choose search parameters including location, bedrooms, price, amenities, etc.
The University of Wisconsin has an off-campus housing listing service. The website provides a listing of apartments, houses, efficiencies, rooms and co-ops for students and the university community submitted by tenants, sublessors, owners and managers.
