Mission Statement
The NAFDA - UW Chapter is a professional student organization dedicated to advancing the education and training of future Audiologists. We will provide education about hearing and balance, in addition to promoting Audiology in the local community. NAFDA – UW Chapter is an active voice for Au.D. students in the state of Wisconsin, as well as the regional and national levels.
Members
Membership is open to students enrolled in the Audiology program at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, an accredited university joint program, and to those students who live in the area who are enrolled in a distance-learning Au.D. program. NAFDA – UW Chapter will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, age, religion, national origin, gender, sexual affection/orientation, or physical, mental, or emotional disability except as provided by federal law. Regular members shall have the right to vote all issues under the Chapter's consideration.
Purpose

Provide Audiology students with educational support and help promote the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) Program and research in Audiology.

Introduce the private practice and business aspect of Audiology to Au.D. students.

Promote the Au.D. Degree as providing the standard of education in preparing the professionals most qualified to provide services to any and all who seek professional healthcare in Audiology.

Establish and promote the goals and efforts of our national organization on our local chapter level.

Become a voice for Au.D. students on a local chapter level.

Become involved the community, as well as the state of Wisconsin.

Promote education about hearing and balance to members of the community and the state of Wisconsin.
